Frozen in Time

I would have completely missed this shot if a friend had not pointed it to me just before we left the spot where this was taken. The flower was part of a small bush that rested underneath a drainage drip, the drip of the water would fall on the bush below, creating this frozen over effect.

This is one of my favorite photos I have taken this year because it really captures the essence of photography, that aspect of being “Frozen in Time”, quite literally in this instance.
